Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal information InfiIoT collects, why we use it, when service providers may process it, and the choices available to you. Last updated 10 May 2020.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, platform or support services, InfiIoT may collect:

  • Name, work contact details, country, company, role and title.
  • Account identifiers and information needed to administer licensed users and devices.
  • Payment and order information when a customer purchases services.
  • Product, licence and usage information, including pages visited, links used, errors and performance data.
  • Device and network information such as IP address, operating system, browser and preferred language.
  • The content of support requests, feedback, technical communications and information submitted voluntarily.

How we collect information

Information may come directly from you, from the organisation that administers your account, from authorised partners involved in providing a service, or automatically when you use the website and platform. If an organisation administers your account, its own policies may also apply to your use.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide requested products, services, support, documentation and account access.
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, administer licences and maintain platform operations.
  • Process orders, invoices, training, events and employment-related requests.
  • Improve products, services and the website using usage, error and performance information.
  • Send service notices, renewal information and, where permitted, marketing communications.
  • Comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, prevent abuse and resolve disputes.

We retain information for as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law. Retention depends on the kind of information, the account or licence relationship and any legal obligation to keep a record.

When we share information

InfiIoT does not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with affiliates, authorised partners and service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, security, payment, fulfilment, support, events and business operations. Contracts require those recipients to protect the information and use it only for the agreed purpose.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate unlawful use, to protect the service or the rights of others, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the instructions in the message. Account holders can correct certain profile information in the portal. You may also request access, correction or deletion where applicable law provides that right. Some records may need to be retained for contractual, security or legal reasons.

Send privacy questions to arpit@scrobits.com. Do not include passwords, access tokens or sensitive device data in the request.

Changes to this policy

InfiIoT may update this policy as products, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the page will identify the current published version.
